Business Development Manager
Main responsibilities/assignments:
- Research and identify new business opportunities and new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Meet with customers/partners face to face or over the phone.
- Foster and develop relationships with customers/partners.
- Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
- Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
- Seek out and submit proposals for potential contracts outside ESA projects.
- Participate in proposal preparation from the management, business, financial and technical (if inline with the background) aspects.
- Have a good understanding of the businesses‘ products or services and be able to advise others about them.
- Be responsible for organizing events for the public, participates in the preparation of marketing and PR strategies, and manages the Company’s social networks with the aim of broad media coverage of the Company’s activities.
- Build business relationships with clusters, chambers, associations, universities, ministries, other state and industrial institutions.
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate.
Required technical skills/competences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or relevant discipline.
- The position will be involved in several projects simultaneously, hence good planning, prioritization and interpersonal skills are key soft skills.
- Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.

Structural & Thermal Analysis Engineer
Main responsibilities/assignments:
- Performing design and verifying space structural and thermal analysis using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools to meet the technical and schedule objectives.
- To perform and lead mechanical analysis (FEM modeling, static and dynamic analysis, thermo-elastic analysis, composite modeling, thermal analysis).
- Review of design analysis / FEM models, thermal models.
- Reporting in English.
- Participation in project reviews.
- Coordination with the project team.
- Drafting of test plans, procedures and test report for static/vibration and thermal test.
- To develop and improve the analysis and simulation tools (ESATAN knowledge is a benefit).
Required technical skills/competences:
- At least 2 years’ professional experience in a structural and thermal analysis role, preferably in the aerospace industry (1 year in space industry or space related studies)
- Communication skills to interface with the project/customers.
- Able to support/justify the FEA results by hand/excel calculation. Macros programming will be an asset.

Product Assurance Engineer
Main responsibilities/assignments:
- Managing the documentation under configuration control according to the agreed procedures and supporting the release of relevant configuration lists/reports.
- Support PA activities during all the project phases (A,B,C and D).
- Participate on project and supplier milestone reviews including review of data packs, submission of review item discrepancies, participation at reviews and supporting the engineering teams in determining an appropriate review outcome.
- Processing of supplier major non-conformances and participating in supplier major non-conformance review boards ensuring effective and appropriate resolution of the issues with the support of the team.
- Perform inspection points for supplier hardware as needed, involving review of documentation, general verification of the build status and overall inspection.
- Facilitate processing approvals of supplier materials, parts and processes.
- Participation in technical projects meetings.
- Participation in incoming/outcoming inspections, integration and test campaigns.
Required technical skills/competences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or relevant discipline.
- Interest in processes, quality, problem solving and improvement.
- Able to work in an interdisciplinary team.
- Self-starter, able to work independently with no supervision.
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and solve problems effectively.
- Teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated capabilities in technical documentation writing in institutional context (ESA/GSA) will be an asset.
Technical Director
Main responsibilities/assignments:
- Technical Leadership: Provide strategic technical leadership, vision, and guidance to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of space innovation.
- R&D Strategy: Develop and implement research and development strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and technical professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Technology Assessment: Identify emerging technologies and trends in the space industry and assess their potential for integration into our projects.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all space projects adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage the technical department’s budget effectively, allocate resources efficiently, and control costs to meet financial goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including manufacturing, operations, and business development, to drive the successful execution of projects and achieve business objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the technical department, implementing best practices, and optimizing processes.
Required technical skills/competences:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
- Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in the space industry, with a track record of technical leadership and project management.
- Strong knowledge of space technologies, industry trends, and ESA standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical teams to innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in aerospace design and analysis.
A professional level of the English language (oral and written) is required. Other European languages are beneficial but not necessary.

Project manager
Main responsibilities/assignments:
- Supporting projects on all activities related to project cost, schedule and risk, project management processes and administrative functions, internal and external reporting. This includes work breakdown structure, financial matters, scheduling, configuration, documentation, progress control, geographical return and general project administration.
- Supporting the preparation, procurement and monitoring of complex procurement actions, from tendering to closure of contract, and for management, financial and planning aspects.
- Supporting negotiations with industrial contractors, and supporting the project team in various programmatic aspects and provide the necessary elements for management decision-making.
- Preparing, maintaining and reporting on cost-at-completion status, including annual cost plans and workforce planning, identifying potential problem areas and proposing remedial action.
- Supporting project reviews. Participation in technical projects meetings.
- Preparation and negotiation of CCN if necessary.
Required technical skills/competences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or relevant discipline.
- Experience in the application of project management, project control principles and advanced project control techniques are essential.
- The ability to summarize complex information and having the ability to prepare reports, dashboards and KPIs.
